January 2025 saw the rollout of AVMF S.C.’s new USSD mobile banking platform giving thousands of rural clients access to finance without needing internet or smartphones. By March, over 6,500 users were already onboard, enjoying fast, easy financial services.

To better serve unbanked clients, AVMF launched an AI powered credit scoring system. This innovation is expected to slash loan processing time by 40% and reach more underserved individuals who previously lacked documentation or financial history.

  Bridging Diaspora and Local Farmers

A groundbreaking new platform launched in March 2025 now connects diaspora investors with rural Ethiopian entrepreneurs. Through this digital portal, people abroad can invest directly into agri-projects back home  creating a powerful, people first funding model.
