EXTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Africa Village Microfinance S.C. (AVMF) invites qualified, competent, and experienced professionals to apply for the following vacant positions.
1. SENIOR ICT OFFICER
Educational Qualification
- BSC Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in ICT administration and support.
- Experience working in a financial institution, bank, microfinance institution, or other technology-intensive organization is highly desirable.
Core Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated experience in Core Banking System (CBS) administration, system implementation, integration, and migration processes.
Strong proficiency in Database Management Systems, including SQL Server, My SQL, and/or Oracle.
Practical experience in network configuration, Active Directory administration, server management, and system backup and recovery.
Knowledge of ICT security, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and business continuity practices is an advantage.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Place of Work: Addis Ababa – Head Office
Employment Type: Permanent, subject to successful completion of the probationary period.
Salary: As per the Company’s salary scale and applicable employment conditions.
